When a Leaf Falls

I'm back at it again.

But, I can't figure how I got it.

I combined a doodle, with text, all from my iPhone, to then upload it to the lap top computer, so that I could post it here on my blog.

Was it worth it???

I love my fall doodle.  The process was stimulating to my brain.  I love to learn the computer  technology.  But I think all of this should be easier.  I don't like trial and error.  I don't like to play with it.  But I'm happy that I can record my art and share.

So, happy fall y'all!

What can I create next?

Not a Perfect Progress

How do you measure progress?

Right now I think that is a difficult question.  However, it is a great question!!!

I termed 2015 my Year of Progress!
Progress: a movement toward a goal or to a further or higher stage.

Progress is impossible without change.

Now... back to doodling the word Progress.... so much easier than doing the word progress.

Fairy Favours

Would you want to be a fairy?

fairy (also fayfaefair folk; from faeryfaerie, "realm of the fays") is a type of mythical being or legendary creature in European folklore, a form of spirit, often described as metaphysicalsupernatural, or preternatural.

I think it would be a job I could handle.

Some people believe in you, others don't.  It seems that you can fly around and zip in and out of small spaces.  That sounds like fun!

I think in most cases, a fairy brings tiny joys, happiness and awe.  This is a doodle of a tooth fairy.... she brings money, right???

I think if I was a fairy, the MORE sparkle the better.  I'd be leaving fairy dust all over.  I'd shine in more ways than one!

I believe.... do you?

Two Thumbs Up

Proud mom moment.

When you don't blog for a while... you truly have a lot of content.

Here is one thing to catch you up.

My first project, my #1 son, my baby.... all grown up and graduated from college.

Oh, what a beautiful (and hot) day!!!

... and, he got a job before graduation day! #lovemyboy

Mountains to Climb

We climbed a mountain together this summer.

My husband Jeff and I literally climbed mountains in Colorado.

“It takes strength and courage to climb a mountain. It takes strength, courage, and wisdom to turn around,” Allison said. “It takes strength to look at our situation honestly and objectively. It takes courage to recognize that we need to change and actually to take steps toward that change. Wisdom is learning from our past—from our mistakes and from the things we did right.”  Stacy Allison

It was work.

I got altitude sickness.

We climbed from 9,000 feet above sea level to almost 11,200 feet and round trip was 7.1 miles, half of a half marathon.

I wouldn't quit.  I had to get back to the car!

It was hard work.

If I can climb a mountain.... I can do (almost) anything!

What a view from the top!

To Create is to Shine!

Hello !  I decided to come back to blogging.

It's been 7 months and I think break time is over.

Not sure how often I will blog.... I always have a lot to say.... I miss it!

Picture taken in Boulder CO

I think when I blog it helps me to SHINE.  To express the real stuff that matters to me~
Wow, a lot has changed in these 7 months and I have to relearn how to do some of this techie stuff.

I can't tell you enough, how important it is to me that, I discovered I NEED to CREATE every day to feel fulfilled.

Hey TGIF!
