A question was posed... and I'm here to post with a visual answer.... Metal Tags found at the Office Supply store. (I think by the price tag stickers and misc. office cool stuff)

Vellum tags found at a Hobby Store. You can switch out the white string with your package ribbon... or place a funky fiber through.... stamp or write directly on the tag... or punch out a circle from your wrapping paper.
