Spreading a 'lil love

Next Holiday.... Ground Hogs day! But sadly, I have no cards for him! I do, however, have a bit of trivia! The city limits that I work in, is where the 1992 movie, Ground Hogs Day, with Bill Murray was filmed. The city is Woodstock, and the weekend of February 2nd, the city has special celebrations for the occasion!

Then, we move on to love... Valentine's Day. Here are a few samples. The pink and red background paper was a great deal at HL, 8 sheets for $1! Brought back out the paper crimper to make some of the hearts and some of the strips of color. The top card, square is punched out and the heart image shows through. Love the fiber, pink and red together! Added a twisted wire to the crimped hearts! Love is in the air!

Gname plays in Snow with Cooper

Gname took his first adventure outside the house with Cooper today! They played in the fresh snow in the backyard! Now it feels and looks like winter in Illinois, with about 3 inches of fluffy stuff. Both Gname and Cooper look proud and happy to be standing in the bright sunshine, ready for a pose! Hope you are having a happy day!

A missed Happy Birthday

The things you can do with a color change in paper and ink, to make a card look completely different. Check out the pink and orange one down below!

Do the math. You're old!

Happy Birthday! A few recent birthday cards... The octupus is cased from a SU card and I love the different letters of the orange and pink card. The present is from the $1 bin at Michaels.

Raining Cats & Dogs

Needed some cards in stock that were simple and generic ... so I thought everyone loves animals, right!!! These are just basic doodle sketches of the cats and dogs, cased from Maryse Carrier. Love the paw print stamp and the birdie marks!! Special Cooper Tails cards!

Before & After - Master Bath faux painting

White is such a non-color. And then, ta-da .... mix a few colors together and you get a Tuscan retreat! It took a whole day to paint and 'repaint' to pull off the faux color technique. What a great difference. I like it! There are a few places to touch up... but project one of the year, done!
