Cuttlebug Butterfly

This card took some time. I think I sort of did it in reverse, and should have just left the white card stock that was cuttle bugged all one. I do like how this card looks. I think it's based off a sketch at SCS.... all those cards go horizontal, it looks cool with the poped up strip on a vertical card.

Happiness Always!

Two versions of the same stamps, just different colors! Stamps from SU. I think these make great cards to write a note in and send it off. Does anyone write notes anymore? Raise your hand!

Friends

The puppy is hand drawn from a cas-ing of Whipper Snapper Designs. The 'friends' is based on a SU! stamp. I like the fact that I can draw, sketch and doodle on my cards, then I can create so many different things with all these cool resources!

Buzz 1!!!

Having trouble uploading this little bugger!! This time it worked!

What's the buzz?

So, I realized this morning that I have done a ton of different cards, but have not taken any digital pictures, or uploaded the photos to the blog.... so here are a few fun animal/bug cards. The characters are based on Whippersnapper designs, but cased and hand drawn by me. I love the pink Missy Mouse picture. Not sure what type of card it is. I have been Creating a lot of blank cards so that I can see what client interests are out there. Then if need be, I can add the sentiment later. With the bee background, there are a mix of SU and TAC stamps creating the beehive and the target spot. Yellow, black and white.... perfect.....Yellow jackets!!! (DS hockey team name!!) Stay tuned for more cards. I don't want to overwhelm my server, so I will add more later!

Check out my Slide Show!

Casing SCS images

Checking out other blogs and galleries and saw these cards in their challenges. So, I tried my hand at it. It's fun when you having matching paper that can help create a well put together look!

A melon thanks

Same basic card using the watermelon paper I got from Suzanne. I love the red & green of the watermelon with the black background. This card is cased from an add in a card magazine. I also added the little ants. Cards are perfect for a summer bbq thank you!

Going Horizontal

Paper and saying by SU! Trying to work on spring and summer type of cards that 'pop' with color! The Father's Day stamp is from the M's $1 bin. Gotta love that the $1 bin is keeping up with the holidays!!

A Disney Moment

Here's Jeff and I on the Safari Ride at Animal Kingdom!!!! Happy Tourists.

World Market Find

Got a great deal on a card kit, only $2.99.... it makes 5 cards and has all the embellishments pre cut and set for you to plop on the card. I didn't like the cards were the large 5x7.... so, I'll use those for other card mats.... and I just found matching smaller card stock the invitation size 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". I like to buy card kits to get ideas how to make embellishments.

Happy Birthday!

To Ms. Terri!!!! This isn't her card, but it's a segway into using new papers on old recipes. I cuttlebugged the flower.... first I glued the paper on to some thin tag board and then ran it through. I used pop dots to give it some dimension.

Paisley Paper from SU

I love this 'thanks' stamp from SU.... I think it's part of my first 'stamp' purchase about 5 years ago. The paper is new from Stampin Up. I'm trying to create more cards that match paper and embellishments. I think this one works!

My Friend

The stamp is part of the acrylic stamps from M's $1 bin. I pulled out some old 'recipes' or card designs, and making more up-beat spring and summer cards. The rick rack is from some 'old' maybe really old stuff my mom gave me. What's old is new!!! I also like how 50 is the new 35! So, if I'm 43 does that mean I'm the new 29???

New PP

It's been more than a week since I added to the blog. I have been creating new cards, but doing lots of other things as well. Over Mother's Day we went up to visit Suzanne en familie... and she let me browse through her 'stuff'. I came home with some new paper to me, and am using old 'recipes' to come up with more cards.

Heartfelt Thanks

This idea is from the SU catalog. I Cuttlebugged the green paper. The image is stamped from a Hero Arts flower... I wrote in the 'heartfelt' - thanks is from TAC.... I used the color wheel to work in some paper colors I probably wouldn't put together. I like it!

Cased Idea

Thanks to whomever's blog I cased this idea...using the SU tag punch and making it into a hinge. So cool. I just sponged the edges and then used a regular large hole punch and put a little line on it to make it look like a screw.

Just Ducky

These cute little duckies are thumbnail photos that I used the Cuttlebug to make tags. I bought cards from Ikea (I know buying cards!!!) But they had a cute display of using these cards as pictures in a cute Ikea frame. The kids have a duck theme going on in the bathroom. I thought, what a perfect baby card!!

Spring has Sprung

I'm trying to work on a few cards that reflect my mood! Spring time, new & fresh. Got out some new and old patterned paper to see different ways to use them. Ideas are all over on other blogs and galleries. Cased a few ideas and worked on a few of my own.
