Many Thanks
Well it's a gloomy day out, and the pictures needed flash... so I don't think they photo as well. Today's selection is a group of thank you cards. Trying to be cheery despite the change in weather... it was in the upper 70's yesterday and humid and today it's 45 and rainy. However, that is spring time in the midwest!
Everybody loves cards with 'yarn' as they call it! It's fiber and comes in hundreds of different colors and textures, and it adds so much to a card! The blue card has a yellow library pocket on the front, the thanks Card is a tag that can be pulled out.
I love the pink and green combo. The flowers are actually a piece of 'ribbon' in my stash, something my mom gave me years ago.
You can't tell by the photo, but the yellow card has the Cuttle bug embossed swirl on it. I punched out a window box for the "Thanks" to peek through. I love these different ways to tie the ribbon to the card. Different for me to pull it around and through the window itself.

New Hard Wood floor
Jeff the before and I took the after pictures. I guess we couldn't remember where each were standing, cuz we have different views of the same place. But it gives you a good idea of how great the new wood floor looks. It's too hard to maintain an almost white carpet with the kids and dog & walking from the garage through the great room, to get into the kitchen. They shine so nice!!!!

thanks!
Found the pretty patterned paper in a stash. Bright and cheery on a nice spring day. The 'thanks' is printed off the computer. Basic ribbon, basic text, basic easy card!

Card Candy
For a swap I'm doing on the Stamp Shack! Card candy. Little tags that are packaged up like store bought. The tags can be used on cards or Scrapbook pages. Different layers, textures and images, now the receipient has new ideas and can add to their cards! I used a brayer to get the background, pink and orange. Stamps are from TAC.... used the Cuttlebug embossing folder for some! And die cuts!
Easter lattice
Thank you to all those great card designers out there, who help to inspire great images! I love to try new things, and add my own take on so many designs out there on different blogs and websites. Thank you! Happy Easter is computer generated. I used the Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder, and then lightly sponge inked it. Punched out the window and put a simple flower image, stamps by Judith. Nice and simple.
SU Paper same but different
All of these cards have the same SU background paper used in them somehow. These cards are based on the 60 card idea from Twisted Chick, her blog is in one of the posts below. I like these cards because they are just basic, yet elegant... and no hand drawn images, for the serious types!! The 'friend' image is done on the computer!
I'm like butta.....
I'm on a roll..... busy weekend creating all different kids of cards. Looking for color!
I like the fairy a lot! I think there are a lot of different ways I can create her wings and petal skirt and put her in zippy poses. I'll have to work on that. Stay tuned for more fairy dust! Can't see it too well, but there is glitter in spots and squiggles throughout her wings!
On the cute kitty.... I used bleach on the flower stamp to create the images. She is inspired by Penny Black. The little chick is quite yellow and orange. The background paper is semi glossy, I used a brayer to add color, pink and orange... and once again, bleached the stamp to get the flower image. All outlined images, hand drawn, but great inspired!!!

Generally speaking, NICE
I thought these cards were so simple and cool! I was inspired by
http://www.twisted-chick.blogspot.com/ When looking further into her blog, she has a format for making 60 cards in 3 hours. They are pretty much basic cards, with basic sentiments, but they are great for adding inventory to your supply... in a quick way .... for great general cards. Gotta love it.

Animal Antics
Gotta find a place to put my scanner, doesn't seem like I can always hold the digital camera close without getting a blurry picture. But you get the idea! Spring colors are starting to pop up. Animal pictures inspired by Inky Antics and Whipper Snapper. I'm always looking for cute, adorable and fun animals... to create whimsical Creative Greetings!
