It's Homecoming at the high school
This is what our house looked like this morning! TP'd! We figure since ds is a freshman football player, there are some freshman cheerleaders on another block and think they did it.... I'm sure we'll hear more later.

I'm thinking gift packs of 4 in this little handy dandy tote!!

Here mousy, mousy
So cute! I worked outside my box a bit for this one.... stamped the image background (flowers, swirls) The little mouse is sitting next to a popped up potted flower pot, with the flowers popped up as well! If I could create the link where this was cased from, I would, but haven't figured that one out yet... linking, not casing!

Pre-spooky
Hate to admit it, but I have been working on some Spooky Halloween cards!!! It isn't even FALL yet! but this image is soooo adorable... yes, cased from some stamp company somewhere, thank you for such cute images to doodle up!! It's hard to think about fall... one day we are in the 40's, today we're back up in the 80's.... plants are dead, but mosquitos are still out! Ai, yi, yi!!!

4 cards, 2 Wild Aspargus
Ok, so I pulled out two more matching patterned paper sheets of Wild Aspargus, and made four more different cards. The cards all have the same paper, but cut, punched, inked, torn and the different backgrounds make each card so different and unique! I love making these cards. So, in the past few days... I made over 12 cards with this 'pulled' patterned paper technique.

Wild Aspargus
So, I pulled out two more coordinating patterned papers from my stack and came up with these 5 cards. Using colors in the burgandy, tan and celery green colors, I think even using the same pp on each, the cards look way different!!
1. Anniversary card, I really like the added corner pieces. I've added brads to them in the past, but I think the paisley paper is enough to make them stand out on their own.
2. Happiness hedge hog!!! I drew him a few days ago, but saw a card with doodles on it and thought he would pop out perfectly with the colors being used. Again, I used photo corners and this time layered the look.
3. Cuttlebug Happy Birthday. I bought some chip board cut outs cheap from Big Lots and now I am using them, but not with their original design, I glued paper to the front of the scallop board, sanded the edges, added my sentiment and inked the edge. Wishing you joy is on the inside.
4. And last but not least, is the Criss Cross card from Splitcoast Stampers. I had passed over this card when looking through the gallery, someone's design caught my eye, so I went back and learned how to create this different card.
I had fun coordinating these two papers to make five somewhat different and unique Creative Greetings!!!

Jury Duty Calls
Well instead of just my muse missing, so have I.... I was summoned for jury duty this week, sat in a room for two days and never was called up. Now, I need to pick up the pieces around the house, since everybody is back in the swing of things with school. Love this little black, pink and white number.... it's an image cased from an OLD Rubber Stamper magazine! Maybe I'll get back on track!
My muse is missing
Have you found it? Haven't been inspired lately to create. That is so sad to me. I guess I get in a rut when there aren't enough 'new' ideas out there for me to case. Simplify!!! New patterned paper to me from Wild Aspargus.... I'm just finding new ways (by casing old ideas) to find simple cards. Maybe I need to start working on being creative, come up with my own stuff... nah! that would be too hard.
Happy Day

One Sheet wonder (sort of)
I haven't done a slide show in a while... and now that the kids are back in school I feel I have more time to experiment and try different things, with cards and the blog. I bought some new patterned paper and card stock from Hobby Lobby, can't go wrong when it's 50% off. This is Wild Asparagus. I pulled out two sheets of a teal/brown dot and paisley combo and whipped up four different cards. I have very little scrap left and think for the next couple of weeks, I want to stock up on these combo cards. Check back again soon!! Happy Day!

Painted Chair
Not that it's completly great painting weather, but here is a painted chair project I have been working on for a few weeks!!! (whew) My parents found the chair while out scrummaging!! Thanks..... so bit by bit.... I've just been painting it into a jolly chair, for someone's porch, flower garder or fun room!!!
I thought maybe if we get asked to contribute to another silent auction or something like that, instead of my cards (which seem well liked, just not requested) maybe this chair might bring in more offers!!!
While out walking the other day, I found another chair.... so stay tuned!!!
