Valentine

Okay, it's back to school for everybody!! I'm so sad that I don't have my days to sit and play in my 'craft room'.But, I'm so excited 'cuz I just got the new SU catalog!! Every day I try and touch my papers, ribbon, stamps, pencils and ink!!

This card has a cuttlebug swirl background that I tried to brayer silver ink. The little heart stamps are one of my first small stamp backgrounds from SU. I still love my corner rounder from Creative Memories, one of my first purchases, years and years ago. You may see more valentine hellos in the near future.

Baskets of cards

The top basket is my donation to a silent auction. I put together 3 (4 packs) of cards and a 5 pack of gift tags. Now viewing it via the picture, I hope they add a little stuffing and make it look a little more impressive, it looks blah!!

The bottom basket is a variety of 20 cards, in individual plastic sleeves. A request was made through a new business I met, to have my cards on her salon counter. Found a great 'salon' looking basket at M's for 50% off. I hope they sell, sell, sell... but then do I need to make sales calls?

Sweet Stuff

Totally cased card {I thought I copied who I cased it from, and I couldn't even do that.... I'll resolve to do better} but I copied pretty much everything they did. Very Punny stamp from SU! The layout is theirs too!! Thank you to some great card maker out there, I thank you from the bottom of my left hand/right brain!!

Back to basics

I think I had a great holiday 'sales' period in giving away Creative Greetings as hostess/housewarming gifts, selling to friends who knew they were getting unique little pieces of art. My stock and inventory are down a bit, so it's time to go back to basics... Thank you cards had the least amount left. This is just a simple card stock with a stamped image, the ribbon is fun. Got it at a local eclectic card/gift shop. Stay tuned for more!

More cards with Charlie

Charlie's mom wanted some more cards with her image on them. So, these are truly actually original hand drawn cards, since this image is mine (I think). I'm bartering with Charlie's mom, she gets cards, and I get a FREE yoga lesson.... it was personalized just for me, a beginner and it was 1-1/2 hours long. I think I made a good deal!!

After and before

DH and I finally painted our bedroom. We think it was the original builders grade paint (Blah white) {bottom pic}. It's now a Martha Stewart 'twine' color. Hard to tell from the pictures. It's supposed to match a color in the bed quilt. I think it made the room cozier(smaller)and warmer. I always love a painted room, maybe 'cuz it took months or years to finally get it done.
