An AHA moment II

The next stage to my Highlowaha journal. I added dp (designer paper) to cover the $1 journal. Starting to add doo-dads and embellishments. Stay tuned to the progress, and see the finished project (Product) my goal for Friday!!

Here is another one of the Zindorf cards from this past weekends tutorials. I think Ms. Zindorf admits to almost having stock in blue ink and blue card stock... These cards are so fun to make. and although she uses a brayer technique to spred the ink, I use sponges and smoosh my color into the paper.

Feels Like Monday!

Yay! It's Monday... is everything back to 'normal' in your house? Ah, the sounds of alarm clocks going off at 5:55 am... like music to my ears!!

It seems as if other bloggers and websites and cardmaking message boards are all getting their groove back on as well. One of my favorite artists/teacher/blogger, Michele Zindorf, is back with tutorials on her blog. This is one of the four of hers I did this weekend. I am so excited to see what she has to teach. A great landscape by just rubbing some ink into the paper, then few stamps here and there, or a little added drawing by me and you have a picture perfect card!

Just amazingly fun!! Hope you have a wonderful Monday to start off the week and a great week to start off your new year!!!

Flutter By

Okay, I had to see if my new signature posted, and to see what the new template layout of my blog would look like. What do you think?? I just had to add another post for the day, to see if it actually worked. I think it did. Of course my DH had to help me because I couldn't figure out the dang %$#@!! instructions!!

Here is a cute card I was *inspired* to create. I cut out the butterflies and cuttlebugged the background with Swiss dots! Trying to work with the SU! scallop punch, not sure if I like it, but I will keep trying.

You make my heart flutter

There is something to be said about the the black framing around a light background color that just makes everything pop!!! It would be much better if the image was in focus, but oh well, can't have it all, talent, looks and image focusing!!! hee hee

Completely *inspired* project. I think it would work as a Valentine card. I tied the bow and glued it on, versus tying the ribbon into a crooked bow!

Thinking of you

I can't wait for everything to go back to "normal"! Not that I feel any stress about it, but having everyone home, and being lazy, boxes and holiday tubs, treats and chocolate all laying about... I'm ready to move on and start the new year!

I saw this layout on SCS and thought I was surely inspired too, to create it. Sometimes my inking the edges looks like smudges and dirty pinkies.. but oh well.

The SU! image is one of the very first I bought, over 7 years ago, now.
