Before and after

Okay, sometimes I dabble a bit in different mediums of art. Not very often, but sometimes. In the past I have painted simple items for charity. Even some CHAIRS, for CHAIRity. My parents have been my supplier, finding usable wood products discarded on the side of the road. Well here is the before....
a nice wooden kitchen chair.

And then here is what I did after painting the entire chair maroon. With accents of silver, white and black. I am donating this to a raffle basket for a hockey event with Bubba's team.

It doesn't look like a basket, huh? But hopefully it will generate enough interest from that hockey fan parent. I still have a bit to learn about painting, but I'm happy with the results.

In the past I've painted Adirondack chairs and a child's toy box for charity. And painted chairs to go in people's gardens, or where ever.

I think the freezer deserves a light as well.
