Zindorf April
- By the dock - April fool Well, I haven't done a Michelle Zindorf project in a while. I love how this one turned out. Amazing what you can do with a few swipes of the ink pad, placement of acrylic paint, a cut out, a doodle and a nice sentiment. I think even if you were NOT a painter.... you could achieve these beautiful little masterpieces. This is on a long card.... 4" x 8"... fits in a letter envelope. I loved this so much... sad... but I made another card on what I consider my standard 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.... and made a sympathy card. It turned out wonderful! Don't get it... one of our neighbors is on vacation for spring break, but they left their senior home. You just get in the routine and see what you see out your front window... they have done this many times before.... but the kid left the garage door open all night twice this week. Not by any means do we live in a crime ridden neighborhood.... but we just shake our head. They've done it when the entire family is home. The first time we saw it, we called them about midnight to let them know...we stopped calling them. It happens too often. They have a LOT of nice stuff by the way in the garage... a tv, stocked fridge, bikes, sports equipment, lawn mower etc.... DH and I were tempted to go over and pull everything out of the garage...can you imagine the look on the kids face when he walks out the utility door? What the hell???? But.... what good would that do? Let me tell you though... the one and only time IF we left our garage wide open 12 hours ... all through the night... we'd be robbed. Even with our two guard dogs.... also, last night and a few nights ago... he must have fallen asleep somewhere else.... his bedroom light was burning 24 hours straight. Windows are all exposed. They've left for the day.... front door wide open..... They are the same family where a month ago the 5th grade girl must have left her cell phone on the car bumper... family backed out.... we found her smooshed cell phone in the street. Also last year he didn't have his snow blower all season, it was in the shop because the dad ran the daily newspaper, plastic and all through the blower.... he did it this year too!! You hear it happen!!! Also, their large labradoodle (Labrador poodle mix) got through the electric fence and knocked down an old gentleman walking on their sidewalk in front of the house... law suit? It's funny wacky neighbors like that... that make you feel pretty darn good about your life... I'm just saying..
